Photojournalism workshop with Edwin Tuyay

WIKIPINAS: Edwin Tuyay is one of Asia's professional photographer, who offers weddings, debuts, portrait, editorial and advertising photography. He is the member of the Editorial Photographers (EP) USA and Asia. He also being represented in Paris and New York by Corbis and Asia by Bankok-based Asiaworks Photography

Edwin began his career as a photographer for local and international film productions where he worked with well known cinematographers and film directors. He got a staff position in the Manila Chronicles, Senate, Congress beats, Malacanang and Defence with the help of his experience in the movie industry. In 1988, Time Warner's Asiaweek Magazine asked him to go to the Spratly Islands for coverage and also did a pictorial for the time magazine. He became as the first staff photographer hired by Asiaweek editors. As a staff photographer he travels around Asia to shoot dictators, presidents, prime ministers, rebels, celebrities, taipans, and business leaders. He contributes as a freelance photographer for international publications, as a picture editors around the globe. He also does billboards, posters, and annual reports for other companies.

Some of his clients: Time Magazine, Newsweek, Fortune, Forbes magazine, Businessweek, The New York, Times, South China, Morning Post, L.A. Times, Paris, Match Stern, Bloomberg News, Far Eastern Economic Review, MSNBC, Reader's Digest International, Esquire magazine, FHM (commmisioned him to shoot their 2004 calendar)
