Another batch of PNP (Philippine
National Police) Nurses successfully finished their 12 day Tactical Paramedic
Training conducted by the PNP Health Service, Nursing Division. The 12 day
training was conducted in the PNP Training Service & SAF (Special Action
Force) School in Sto. Domingo, Laguna.
It was participated by 35 nurses assigned with Health Service in
different discipline from all parts of the country.
One of the lecturers during the Tactical
Paramedic training was Dr. Ted Esguerra (one of the first Filipino to climb Mt.
Everest)
Participants demonstrated proper way in transporting a
patient in a strecher.
As
part of the tactical aspect, students were trained at Special Action Force
School, a training facility of the Philippine National Police that trains elite
combat unit. The participants performed Close Quarter Battle , Immediate Action
Drill maneuvers and basic rapelling techniques.
Graduation day of the 6th Tactical Paramedic Nurse Training last April 11, 2013 with Police Chief
Superintendent Loot (chief of Training Service, Philippine National Police) as
their guest of honor & speaker at PNP Training Service.
