Cagayan De Oro City Fiesta 2013 - Bancarera 2013

During the culmination day in honor to the city patron saint Augustine, race of motorized wooden boat participated by 20-30 individuals from different part of Mindanao sponsored by the Bombo Radio themed " Bombo Radyo Kagay-an Festival Bancarera 2013 " held in San Juan of Barangay Lapasan fronting the Macajalar Bay. Thousands of espectators flock in the warf area under the scorching heat of the sun in spite the bombing that transpired few weeks before the fiesta celebration that killed 8 and wounded 40 individuals.

The first prize was said to be 20,000 pesos and a brand new marine engine for their wooden speed boats

5 reason why Laguindingan Airport is a pain in the ass for travellers

Its my third time to catch my flight almost a month after Laguindingan airport was officially opened and trying to accustom myself regarding the inconvenience with the newest airport in the Philippines as of this writing, and the 5 following reason that really pissed most of the passengers are as follows.

1. Its about 2 hours travel from the city proper (45 minutes ride + 1 hour traffic congestion).

2. Theres no affordable store to offer meal for passengers inside the airport.

3. They will open all of you  luggage since they dont have x-ray machine.

4. You need to wait for your schedule time-in before you can eat in their restaurant.

5.  Transportation problem (metered taxi cab will cost you 450-500.00, non-metered taxi cab cost you 600.00)
