How to get to Lake Apo, Guinoyuran, Valencia City, Province of Bukidnon

Crystal clear water of a crater lake in Barangay Guinoyoran in the City of Valencia in Bukidnon province in central mindanao. It is located in a hilly area about 640 metres (2,100 ft) in elevation, about 11 kilometres from town center .The lake was awarded the cleanest inland body of water in Northern Mindanao Region in the 1990s. The green body of water has an estimated area of 24 hectares (59 acres) with maximum depths reaching up to 26 m (85 ft).- wikipedia

I was astonished without any presage with clarity of the water and serenity of the place and a breath taking view. We rode our own motor bike with my kids travelling from Maramag for about an hour, it was a rugged trip as we began to ascend the road going to our destination and can be closely described as a dry river bed terrain, mainly cause by erosion. We were almost lost since there was not a single signage along the road, so if you are bringing your own vehicle, you must ask the locals along the road regarding directions.

How to go to Waig Crystal Spring Resort in Maramag, Bukidnon

One of the most visited resort in Bukidnon most famous of its spiral slides, located at North Polacion (Purok-8A) with an area of 3.6 hectares. To get there there by commuting from nothern part, simply ride bus bound for Davao, Kibawe, Tacurong, Damulog and alight at Waig Crystal crossing in the national highway, just ask the bus conductor to drop you at that crossing, if coming from the southern part you may ride bus bound for Cagayan de oro and Valencia. At the crossing there are many single motorcycle (Habal-Habal) to bring you to the resort for 30.00 pesos/person its 10-15 minutes little bit bumpy ride from the crossing.

Trivia: Maramag come from the word "Ag Ramag" , it was said to be borrowed from manobo word  "Ag ramag ki dinhi" or "Let us eat our breakfast here"

Photowalk in Bukidnon (Malaybalay City)

A successful event sponsored by the Bukidnon Photographers and Bloggers Society (BPBS) participated by the Bukidnon Photographers (BukPHO) the first joint photowalk and photo contest in landscape and street photography genre held in St James School of Science & Technology, Malaybalay City last July 20, 2013. The activity started with a photowalk as scheduled and photos taken was submitted for the day contest in the street photography category, the walk lasted well-nigh 4 hours in fair weather condition.

As one of the judges, it was a humongous decision on which to pick for the submitted entries were all fine work of arts. All photos were composed well incorporating the rule of thirds, leading lines, framing and et cetera. So the wow factor shall be the definitive ways in means on who might get the highest rating among the judges.

Photowalk is highly recommended to all photographer hobbyist or pro alike for it serves as a platform to gain technical knowledge from other group member and opportunity to meet up new friends in the same field of interest.

Victim of Infringement- a legal context Kaamulan 2012

A simple Kaamulan 2012 picture of the lady mayor in Maramag, Bukidnon (Mindanao, Philippines) made it to a hot sit with the  province newbie photographers (including me). My friend Sandre once called and consulted  me regarding the issue, I being a law officer (Tanod) made some few legal advices in regards to his concern, but dont know if any of those advices made it to reality.

Just another simple and example copyright  infringement.Ay Ginoo! the person grab the photo was not aware regarding rights? hahaha. then they should not hire people in that department without fog lamp in their kukuti.Its too late from here, accept the consequence.
